Alicia Fusting
10 Questions with Alicia Fusting

Not only is Alicia Fusting incredibly beautiful, she's incredibly interesting. She grew up in rural St. Thomas, near Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, growing up in the midst of a small Amish community, on a 300-acre farm. They raised produce, cattle and horses, and Alicia raised the temperatures of the little Amish boys.

Alicia remembers her time in that community fondly. Sure electricity would've been nice to grow up with, but who needs electric lights when you can light up a room all by yourself?

Actually, since her family is Catholic, their farm was a little more modern than their Amish neighbors. They had cars, washing machines, bought butter at a store, and even had TV (Alicia actually remembers one of the older Amish men getting caught up in an episode of "Melrose Place" while visiting the Fusting farm).

Beyond television, she attended William H. Putch's summer theater, the famous Totem Pole Playhouse in Fayetteville, and saw Beau Geste. She decided to become an actress. Being Catholic and clever and, well, incredibly hot... and realizing that it's easier to make a film with electricity, Alicia finally decided to leave her tiny hometown behind. She studied theatre and film at UNC, Charlotte, North Carolina, and then headed to Hollywood. She immediately landed plenty of modeling and ad work.

Now she's moving into film and TV. You may have seen her on TV shows like Passions, or on the pages of countless fashion magazines. Her Amish ex-neighbors probably haven't (unless she's on a TV commercial while they're secretly taping "Melrose Place" re-runs).

Anyway, SportsHollywood interviewed Alicia at Kate Mantillini's in Beverly Hills, then spent a charming afternoon with her churning butter, shoing horses and rasing a barn.
